School is back in session and there’s a new class in charge!  SENIOR CLASS of 2020!  We had so much fun with these two BFF’s two weeks ago when we did their senior portrait session near West Palm Beach.     Senior sessions with are available NOW and can be booked on location or in our Boynton Beach studio.  We also offer an option to do both in studio and outdoor on the same day.

Here are a few tips to get ready for your senior portrait session!

  1.  Have a consultation with your photographer so they know what kind of “feel” you want for your senior session.  This will direct them on a location to recommend.
  2.  Gather  your wardrobe for the session.  Choose clothing that you can sit, stand, or pose in comfortably.  Be sure to show off your sense of style!
  3.  Bring accesories or props that mean something to you.  Be sure to discuss what you have in mind during your consultation so that your photographer can accommodate your request.
  4.  Be ready to have FUN!  Your senior portraits can only show your personality if you put it out there during the session.   Now is not the time to be shy 🙂

There are many other questions that might come up to help prepare you for your senior portraits.  Be sure to book them NOW to meet the deadline for your school yearbook!   It typically will take 2-3 weeks to get on the schedule for a photographer and it will take 2-3 weeks for the images to be returned to you.

Have a great SENIOR YEAR!  If you have any questions I can be reached at 561-350-4219 or

In honor of my 14th anniversary, for the FIRST TIME EVER…I am offering a *AUGUST ONLY* BACK TO SCHOOL outdoor mini portrait event.

It is so crazy to believe this little hobby turned into a full time job 14 years ago today…I have nothing but love for all that have supported me and my journey over the years.  I am overwhelmed with the thought of how many milestones and memories I have helped preserve for families and grateful for the clients that I also call my friends!  I hope you can join us to celebrate going back to school and our special milestone!

The session will take place at an outdoor location to coordinate with those that book.  We are going for a fun, modern, urban back to school feel.

This super fun 20 minute mini session is for children only to document their favorite outfit or school uniform to start the new school year!  Feel free to bring your new backpack or first day of school signs that we all love to share on social media 🙂  No family portraits offered for this event but you can upgrade to include sibling poses.  Babies and toddlers are not excluded in this offer!

Sessions start at $99+tax for one child and must be paid at the time of booking.  No cancellations or refunds, we will create rain dates if weather is a problem.  Limited sessions are available and expire August 22!  They start THIS WEEKEND so you must respond ASAP!

If you looking for a newborn family photographer in Boynton Beach, look no further!  We specialize in newborns, family portraits and headshots for all ages.  Sweet little “G” was born the beginning of June and her mom immediately called to get on our busy schedule.  Getting newborn portraits of  your baby within the first ten days will allow you to capture these sleepy curled up poses.     We typically book newborn due dates months in advance to ensure we will be in town when the baby is fresh out of the womb so don’t wait until your baby is born to tentatively hold an appointment.  This little one was referred to us by a family that I have worked with for the last ten years, but not all sessions find me based on referral.  It doesn’t matter how you found us, we are just glad you did 🙂

Please call for a free consultation, we would be happy to answer any questions you may have about your session.    More of my newborn work can be found on our website here.

Here is a sample of how Miss G’s  session went.

I had the pleasure of hanging out with Mr. “M” last week and it was a treat!  He met me at my  Boynton Beach photography studio and we captured his milestone portraits with his lively little personality.   The minute he arrived I knew we would be friends!  Milestone portraits are crucial to keeping these little moments alive.  As a parent of a child going to be a senior in high school next year, trust me when I say you will wish you spent the time to document your little one at age five!

Whether your little one is newborn or not so little and graduating college…milestones are meant to be photographed!    Please call me today for a complimentary consultation.  I look forward to hearing from  you!

Little Miss J and her family came to see me in my Boynton Beach studio a few weeks ago.  She was only four days old and such a delight!  Her brother made me work for it!  We managed to get this beautiful newborn baby girl and her family updated portraits.   I am currently booking February 2018 due dates!  Please call or email me with details on newborn portrait sessions!  #justtoseeyousmilephotography Photographer:

It’s time to teach an old dog new tricks 🙂  We are making changes in 2018 and we hope you like what you see!  Stay tuned for featured sessions that will be added here this year!    To start, I am featuring this families reunion session that took place in December.  “Reunion” sessions are only called that because they typically happen when families get together for special occasions.  Most families have loved ones that live out of the area so we want to let everyone know we are here to document your family when they are able to get together.  Call us for a quote for any size family big or small 🙂  Just be sure to capture your family when the dynamic changes to update!  A marriage, a new baby’s arrival, or a big milestone birthday or anniversary are some great reasons to update your extended family portraits!

Halloween is Creeping Up!

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays to enjoy with my kids! Who doesn’t love pumpkin carving, going out to hunt for that perfect pumpkin, and TRICK’OR’TREATING!!   The thing I love the most about it is knowing that fall is here and gorgeous colors in photographs at the pumpkin patch!

Many of you know that I only do a limited number of mini sessions per year and this is one that I share with the public!  If you have never used me before to document your family, NOW is the time to give us a try!

Come get caught in our Spider Web with our Halloween Mini Session! This FRIDAY ONLY! Don’t miss out I have TWO spots left!

As we were driving home yesterday from school, Abby say’s ” Wow, that year flew by.”  I immediately responded with, “It sure did!”  I love capturing the girls on their first and last day of school each year so that I can see how much they have grown.  This year, I can’t help but to notice that they have not just grown physically, but they both have matured A LOT!  Some days I lose the battle of telling Hanna she can’t wear make up.  Most days I tell her to go back upstairs and take some of it off.  With Abby, she woke up this morning saying she wanted to get herself dressed….that is a huge milestone for us b/c if any of you know my little Abigail, you know she likes to push buttons and most mornings I am getting her in her clothes while she is still asleep!  Hanna always pops out of bed….Abby we have to drag.  We experienced many firsts this year…skiing and zip lining were our favorite!  Abby also got started with her first round of orthodontics to fix her tiny upper jaw.  Luckily for me, we will start headgear during the summer where things are much more relaxed.    We hope that you all enjoy your summer and look forward to keeping up with friends via Facebook for travels and such.  Here they are….getting too too BIG.

After having my blog down for almost a year…I want to make it a personal goal to post every Friday.   In the past few months I have had the pleasure of working with several families that used to live here but have moved away for one reason or another.   It really is a true testimony when someone makes you one of the first calls they make when making travel plans to come back to the area.  I am so honored and grateful that families enjoy spending an hour with me to update their family portraits when they are here just a short time visiting their loved ones.  A big THANK YOU to ALL those families, and here is a little share of the most recent session with the “E” Family.   This family started coming to me when their older daughter was just about 2 years old.  They had to move away a few years ago and the last two years they have booked a family portrait session while visiting family here from Seattle.   We used to have to chase them around the studio (like all toddlers!)  They certainly aren’t toddlers anymore, and they were really playful for our session on Palm Beach a couple weeks ago.
